Lopuyo Paulo Lokwawi was born in the early 2000s in Turkana, Kenya. He grew up in this area from childhood until he went to the minor seminary of the Apostles of Jesus in Uganda, where he studied music. Later, he joined the University of Nairobi to study Nuclear and Radiation Physics. He also holds a Bachelor of Health science degree from the University of the People in California, USA. Lopuyo is an active member of the Nuclear Society of Kenya, a society that champions the use of nuclear technologies in health and energy. His main interests are in the application of nuclear technologies in medicine, with a passion for medical physics as used in imaging, and the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
