If you followed the directions in the previous post, but you still can't play midi files, then you probably don't have java installed on your computer.
To download Java go to this link > http://java.com/en/download/
After you download Java, it will install by itself, make sure you allow it to do so. Close all your browsers and start them again. For most of you this should be the solution.
